A collaborative poetry book by Mark Wright and Sam Telford. The book was based around the concept of observational poems inspired by the paintings of Edward Hopper. The poets selected poems that represented recent urban observations of their own and paired them with archival photographs supplied by Ian Robson. The collection is named after Hopper's 1943 painting, Hotel Lobby.
Mark Wright was born in 1998 in Bradford. He fronts the shoegaze band Lightbulb Society and lives in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Sam Telford was born in 1992 in Gateshead. He works as a tea merchant and lives in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
