SAINT DOG - LOT COULDRICK

£8.99

SAINT DOG is a queer hagiography of folk saints who have been deemed heretics by the Catholic Church. The poems weave through the saints’ stories, spanning continents and centuries, telling of transmutation, canonisation, rebellion, dogma, and queerness. These are trans lives resisting the violence of empire, state and religion, asking who the true heretics are. The saints long for revolution and for autonomy. SAINT DOG was first written at Lakkos Artists Residency in Crete, October 2023.

Lot Couldrick is a trans poet from Devon, living in London in the sixth year of the second decade of the twenty first century. Their first book MY BODY USED TO FEEL LIKE YOURS was published by Speculative Books in 2020.
